Job Description: 
As the Marketing & Merchandise Coordinator, you will work with the VP of Business Operations and General Manager to drive the team's presence and engagement on game days and beyond, contributing significantly to our mission of uniting people through the love of baseball and community. You will play a key role in curating and managing the team's merchandise offerings to enhance fan engagement and drive revenue. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with suppliers, overseeing inventory, and implementing strategies to elevate the fan experience and optimize merchandise sales at the game.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage game day merchandising and sales strategy and structure
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers. 
  • Monitor and manage merchandise inventory, including ordering, restocking, and minimizing excess. Implement efficient systems for inventory tracking and fulfillment. Generate reports on merchandise sales, expenses, and profitability. 
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize merchandise sales. Collaborate with the Marketing team to create promotions and initiatives that engage fans. 
  • Gather insights from fan interactions and sales data to inform a better fan experience with Ballers merchandise, and inform new product introductions.
  • Evaluates market trends to adapt to the changing market and competitive conditions to ensure consistent sales and customer satisfaction. 
  • Assist in developing and driving community event planning and coordination
  • Collaborates with marketing team to ensure all creative assets properly reflect the brand and are consistent with marketing and sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create campaigns focused on growing the new Season Ticket Member base, retention, group, advance, theme, and walk-up tickets 
  • Collaborate with the head of marketing team on advertising and promotional campaigns which may include TV, radio, print, social, and digital marketing to drive sales and increase brand affinity ultimately 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sport Management, Business, Merchandise or a related field. 
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on sports or entertainment industries. 
  • Previous experience in merchandise coordination, retail, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and emerging marketing trends. 
  • Demonstrated experience of event management or production. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to effectively market the team and enhance the fan experience, while being able to solve complex problems.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Experience in marketing and media agencies
  • Working understanding of POS and inventory management systems like Shopify or Square

Compensation: 
The offer for this full-time, non-exempt position is $47,500 - $50,000. Experience, talent, and other factors will be considered when determining the salary offered. Final offers for this role will be made within the offer range provided. Total compensation & offer package will include:
