Job Description: 
As the Oakland Ballers Video Board Operator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the fan experience by ensuring the game presentation is displayed according to standards set by your Producer. Working
closely with the production team, you will be responsible for operating the video board during games
and other live events and ensuring that engaging and dynamic visuals are being displayed at appropriate
times in-event. As the Video Board Operator, you create unforgettable moments for fans by bringing the
excitement of baseball to life on the big screen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the video board to display live camera shots put in program by the Technical Director
  • Collaborate with TD and Showcaller to fulfill specific replay and simulcast moments.
  • Monitor the progress of the game and make timely decisions on which content to fire, including
instant replays, highlights, interactive fan prompts, sponsorship activations, etc.
  • Coordinate with the public address announcer/host and scoreboard operator to ensure that all
information displayed on the video board is accurate and synchronized with other game elements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with the videoboard operating system and work quickly to resolve
any disruption in the viewing experience.
  • Stay informed about upcoming promotions, sponsor activations and special events to
incorporate relevant content into the show as needed.
  • Control Game-In-Progress layouts and advance player information as the game dictates
  • Attend any pre-production or post-production meetings and rehearsals as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience operating videoboard systems or similar multimedia display technology
preferred, specifically in a sports or entertainment setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple content streams and
ensure seamless transitions between them.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to adapt
to changing game situations and audience preferences.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other members
of the production team and game operations staff.
  • A passion for baseball and an understanding of the game’s nuances, enabling you to
anticipate key moments and deliver compelling content to enhance the fan experience.
