Join our dedicated team as a Baseball Clubhouse Manager , where you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our players and coaches during the season. This position is perfect for someone who loves baseball, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Management: Assist in the setup and maintenance of player equipment, including bats, gloves, uniforms, and protective gear. You will be responsible for the distribution and collection of ALL equipment for entering and exiting players.
- Clubhouse Maintenance: Ensure the home clubhouse, coaches offices, shower and locker areas and the visiting clubhouse are clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Should be reset at the end of each day. Visiting Clubhouse Maintenance: clean, organize and maintain the visiting clubhouse areas. Includes visiting team uniforms, towels, trash, shower and cleaning supplies.
- Player Support: Provide on-field support during games, including delivering water, towels, and equipment as needed.
- Laundry- must drop off and pick of laundry (jerseys and loops for both the home and away teams) with our hotel partner
- Game Day Preparation: Help prepare the field and dugout for games, ensuring all equipment is game-ready, water is available, and uniforms are ready
- Game Day Food: Must have snacks ready pre-game and is responsible for coordinating provided meals for home games
- Inventory Management: Track and manage the inventory of equipment and supplies, reporting any needs or shortages to the coaching staff.
- Transportation: Assist with transporting equipment to and from the field and between game locations.
- Overseeing Clubhouse Assistants
- General Assistance: Be available for any other tasks or duties assigned by coaches or team staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Passion for baseball and understanding of the game.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry equipment as needed (up to 75 LBS)
- Previous experience in sports or a related field is a plus, but not required
