The Missoula PaddleHeads are a professional baseball organization dedicated to delivering outstanding fan experiences while serving as the centerpiece for baseball and community engagement in Missoula. Operating out of Ogren Park at Allegiance Field, we are committed to doing things the right way, building meaningful relationships, and striving for excellence both on and off the field.
The Missoula PaddleHeads Internship Program offers hands-on, immersive experience within a professional sports organization. Interns are integrated into the daily operations of the front office and game-day environment, gaining practical exposure to the business of baseball while working alongside experienced industry professionals.
This program is designed for individuals eager to learn, contribute, and grow personally and professionally while preparing for future careers in sports, events, and venue management.
Interns are considered essential members of our team and are expected to take ownership of their work while supporting organizational goals. Stadium Operations Intern
The 2026 Missoula PaddleHeads are looking for an intern interested in learning how to support the management of our stadium, Ogren Park at Allegiance Field, during the 2026 baseball season. This internship’s focus is supporting our Stadium Operations responsibilities at the stadium for all PaddleHeads home games and non-baseball events. This is an amazing internship for someone who dreams and envisions running their own stadium or venue in sports.
This is a paid ‘For-Credit’ internship. Housing is provided.
All internships with the Missoula PaddleHeads are seasonal commitments that require the ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Interns are required to be available for all home games during the season.
Stadium Operations Responsibilities & Expectations:

- Help manage day-to-day stadium operations in the direction of the Stadium Operations Manager to provide a best-in-class experience.
- Assisting in day-to-day operations of the stadium (maintenance, cleaning, etc.).
- Assisting to ensure that our operations, budget, and guest services goals are met.
- Assists in the security and safety of fans and employees at the stadium.
- Assist in the hiring and training stadium support staff and day of game staff.
- Assists in planning and execution of all non-baseball events at OPAF.
- Assists in groundskeeping responsibilities as determined by the Groundskeeper and Stadium Operations Manager.
2026 Season Projects:
- Usher Program Management Project: Work with stadium operations to support and manage the ballpark usher program throughout the season. This project is designed to provide hands-on experience in staff coordination, guest services, and game-day operations within a live event environment. This includes assisting in organizing, training, and supporting ushers to ensure a welcoming, safe, and efficient fan experience on game days and during select baseball events. This also includes helping establish clear expectations, supporting communication between ushers and stadium leadership, and contributing to consistent service standards across the ballpark. Through this project, the intern will gain exposure to leadership responsibilities, problem-solving in real-time, and the operational flow of a professional sports venue.
- Strategic Parking Lot Management Plan: Work with stadium operations to create a system to manage the PaddleHeads parking lot to ensure safety and profitability. This includes generating a plan that ensures efficient ingress and egress from the stadium parking lot, as well as limits those entering the parking lot in vehicles to PaddleHeads game attendees. This plan will also involve the training and management of the parking day of game staff to execute responsibilities of the position.
- Management of Stadium Cleaning Program: Work with stadium operations to establish standard operating procedures to ensure efficient cleaning practices at the stadium. These practices will be executed at a high level for both gamedays and non-baseball events. This will involve the management of the stadium cleaning crew, product inventory, and trash/recycling systems. These procedures should include work schedules and expectations for the cleaning crew, systems for inventory and ordering needs, and best practices for trash/recycling bins throughout the ballpark.
