Marketing Intern
The Missoula PaddleHeads are a professional baseball organization dedicated to delivering outstanding fan experiences while serving as the centerpiece for baseball and community engagement in Missoula. Operating out of Ogren Park at Allegiance Field, we are committed to doing things the right way, building meaningful relationships, and striving for excellence both on and off the field.
The Missoula PaddleHeads Internship Program offers hands-on, immersive experience within a professional sports organization. Interns are integrated into the daily operations of the front office and game-day environment, gaining practical exposure to the business of baseball while working alongside experienced industry professionals.
This program is designed for individuals eager to learn, contribute, and grow personally and professionally while preparing for future careers in sports, events, and venue management.
Interns are considered essential members of our team and are expected to take ownership of their work while supporting organizational goals. Marketing Intern
The 2026 Missoula PaddleHeads are looking for an intern interested in learning how to support the execution of marketing initiatives during the 2026 baseball season. This internship's focus is supporting our marketing efforts across campaigns, promotions, and community engagement initiatives that drive awareness, grow the PaddleHeads brand, and get people to attend events and games at the ballpark. This is an amazing internship for someone who dreams of building a career in sports marketing, brand development, and fan engagement within professional sports.
This is a paid ‘For-Credit’ internship. Housing is provided.
This position, as well as any position with the Missoula PaddleHeads, requires the ability to work long hours which includes weekends and holidays. During the duration of your internship, you are required to work all home games.
Marketing responsibilities and expectations:

- Show initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn through hands-on experience
- Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns that promote PaddleHeads games, events, and initiatives
- Support game-day marketing efforts, including promotions, fan engagement activities, and brand activations
- Help coordinate and distribute marketing materials across digital, print, and in-venue platforms
- Support data collection and reporting related to marketing efforts, including attendance drivers and fan engagement metrics
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent branding and messaging
2026 Summer Projects:
- Executive Team Collaboration: Working with the Marketing and Promotions Manager, you will gain potentially the most valuable experience as a marketer – the knowledge and experience that, as a marketer, it is your job to work with (and for) every department in the franchise. You will be taught how to balance prioritization, create strategies and content to help each department reach their financial goals, and to work as a team player. Completion of this project will gain you invaluable collaboration skills, creative planning and prioritization experience and prepare you to work with any size business in the future.
- Photo & Video Asset Management Project: Working with the Marketing and Promotions Manager, the Marketing Intern will lead a project focused on creating and organizing a centralized digital photo and video asset library for the organization. This project involves researching best practices for digital asset management, developing an efficient and user-friendly file structure, and helping implement processes that ensure timely updates and easy access for front office and marketing support staff. Through this project, the intern will gain hands-on experience in digital asset management, workflow optimization, and cross-department collaboration while contributing a lasting resource that supports the PaddleHeads’ marketing, storytelling, and brand efforts.
Experience Required:
- Experience in Adobe Suite – Photoshop and Premiere Preferred
- Maintain an outgoing, energetic, and creative mindset
- Must possess strong writing skills
- Ability to be creative and enhance our product
