The Missoula PaddleHeads are a professional baseball organization dedicated to delivering outstanding fan experiences while serving as the centerpiece for baseball and community engagement in Missoula. Operating out of Ogren Park at Allegiance Field, we are committed to doing things the right way, building meaningful relationships, and striving for excellence both on and off the field.
The Missoula PaddleHeads Internship Program offers hands-on, immersive experience within a professional sports organization. Interns are integrated into the daily operations of the front office and game-day environment, gaining practical exposure to the business of baseball while working alongside experienced industry professionals.
This program is designed for individuals eager to learn, contribute, and grow personally and professionally while preparing for future careers in sports, events, and venue management.

Baseball Operations and Clubhouse Intern
The 2026 Missoula PaddleHeads are looking for an intern interested in learning how to support the day-to-day operations of our baseball and clubhouse environment during the 2026 baseball season. This internship’s focus is supporting the baseball operations and clubhouse responsibilities for all PaddleHeads home games and team activities, contributing to the organization, preparation, and overall professionalism of the team environment. This is an amazing internship for someone who dreams of working in player development, team operations, or the competitive side of professional baseball.
This is a paid ‘For-Credit’ internship. Housing is provided.
This position, as well as any position with the Missoula PaddleHeads, requires the ability to work long hours which includes weekends and holidays. During the duration of your internship, you are required to work all home games.
Responsibilities & Expectations:

- Show initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn through hands-on experience
- Develop strong relationships with front office, coaches, players, trainers, etc. to ensure needs are being met and collect honest feedback
- Assist the Clubhouse Manager with all Clubhouse operations (including both Home and Visitor’s clubhouse)
- Assist in the oversight of team analytics using the Trackman System. This includes setup, input, collection, and processing.
- Assist in the daily use of MLB’s Synergy system. This includes a camera setup, game time filming collection, and system post-game upload.
- Act as a liaison between the players/coaches/team and the front office to ensure open and active communication
- Assist in coordination of aspects of team travel
- Organize and coordinate player/coach interviews, promotions, and public appearances with the Marketing and Promotions Manager
- Any other duties assigned
2026 Summer Projects:
- Baseball Analytics Using Trackman and Synergy: Be responsible for the set up and capturing of required analytic data using the Trackman and Synergy systems. This includes developing daily protocols to set up and collect the data, upload the data, and provide necessary reports as required by coaches and front office. This project will work hand in hand with PaddleHeads President, Manager, and Coaches to determine what analytics we need, how often, and in what form of presentation. This may also include some form of analysis of the data and providing needed trends and information to the team.
- Baseball Operations & Athletic Training Inventory Management System: The Baseball Operations & Clubhouse Intern will support a project focused on developing and organizing a comprehensive inventory and storage system for Baseball Operations and Athletic Training equipment and supplies. This project includes cataloging items, establishing efficient storage locations, and helping implement tracking, security, and replacement procedures to ensure accountability and readiness throughout the season. Through this project, the intern will gain hands-on experience in inventory management, operational organization, and the behind-the-scenes logistics that support a professional baseball clubhouse.
