Role Description
Long Beach Coast, owned and operated by Innovation Baseball, is seeking a dynamic Ticket Sales Coordinator to support revenue generation efforts for our inaugural season. You will help execute a comprehensive ticket sales strategy, working closely with the Director of Revenue & Business Operations to own & execute ticket sales strategy, drive revenue generation, and establish our footprint in the Long Beach community. Innovation Baseball is committed to reimagining the fan experience through innovative approaches to sports entertainment, and this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the commercial foundation of a new professional baseball franchise.
This is a ground-floor opportunity to build and scale our ticketing and sales operations from inception as part of a startup independent baseball team in Long Beach. The ideal candidate combines sales expertise with entrepreneurial creativity and a passion for baseball thriving in a fast-paced startup environment where you'll have significant autonomy to shape the success of the new organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation & Strategy
- Implement comprehensive ticket sales strategy across all inventory segments (season tickets, group sales, mini-plans, single-game tickets)
- Build and optimize the sales infrastructure, including CRM, pipeline processes, and conversion tracking, to maximize efficiency and revenue.
- Drive new season ticket member acquisition with focus on establishing founding member base
Market Development
- Lead outbound prospecting efforts targeting local businesses, schools, and community organizations across Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Execute premium seating and hospitality sales strategies in partnership with Director of Revenue & Business Operations
- Partner with Director of Revenue & Business Operations & Head of Marketing on integrated campaigns that drive awareness and ticket demand
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, community engagement, stadium operations, and game-day teams
- Identify and activate community partnerships that generate group sales and ticket bundles.
- Leverage promotional calendar, theme nights, and community engagement initiatives to accelerate revenue opportunities.
- Provide insights on fan preferences and market trends to inform product development
- Represent the organization at community events, networking functions, and business development opportunities
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on sales KPIs, pipeline development, and conversion metrics
- Analyze market data and sales trends to optimize strategies
- Manage sales forecasting and inventory allocation
- Prepare and facilitate regular updates for executive leadership
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of progressive ticket sales experience in professional sports, minor league baseball preferred
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
- Strong understanding of CRM platforms (Vivenu, Paciolan, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community outreach

- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other relevant languages)
- Experience launching new sports franchise or expansion team
- Background in minor league or independent baseball operations
- Existing network within Long Beach/Southern California business community
- Experience with premium seating and hospitality sales
