Job Title: Pitch Clock Operator
The Pitch Clock Operator plays a key role in game day operations by managing the pitch timer during all home games, ensuring compliance with league pace-of-play rules. This position works closely with umpires, official scorers, and Baseball Operations staff to support a smooth, consistent game flow. This position works closely with umpires, official scorers, and Baseball Operations staff to support a smooth, consistent game flow. What You’ll Do:
- Operate and manage the pitch clock in real time during all home games in accordance with PBL rules
- Set up, test, and break down timing equipment before and after each game
- Monitor gameplay closely to ensure accurate timing resets and identify any violations
- Communicate effectively with umpires, official scorers, and game staff to ensure proper implementation of pitch clock rules
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly to minimize disruptions during live play
- Support Baseball Operations staff with additional game day duties as needed

- Strong knowledge of baseball rules, gameplay, and pace of play
- High attention to detail with the ability to track live game action accurately
- Availability for all home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, live-game environment with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $16.90
- Location: Long Beach, CA
