IBP provides resources, scale, and operational expertise to help each team thrive both on and off the field. Our clubs compete in the Pioneer Baseball League, an independent professional baseball league founded in 1939 and partnered with Major League Baseball.   

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Long Beach Coast and help create an exceptional fan experience for Long Beach’s newest professional baseball team.   

Position Overview

The Gameday Box Office Associate will serve as a front-line representative for the Long Beach Coast, delivering outstanding customer service while assisting fans with ticket purchases, event information, and game day support.   

This role is ideal for an organized, energetic, and fan-focused individual interested in gaining hands-on experience in professional sports ticketing and game operations.   

Responsibilities

  • Sell tickets to the general public using the team’s ticketing platform (Vivenu)

  • Assist guests at the box office and will call windows

  • Resolve ticketing issues and provide customer support in a professional manner

  • Deliver a safe, clean, and welcoming fan experience

  • Answer questions regarding events, schedules, seating, and ticket options   

  • Follow all operational policies and box office procedures   

  • Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude   

  • Familiarize yourself with event details, promotions, VIP access, and credentials   

  • Maintain efficient guest flow during high-volume periods   

  • Provide general ballpark information including directions, restroom locations, merchandise areas, and exits   

  • Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned   

Qualifications

Education & Experience   

  • High school diploma or GED preferred   

  • Previous experience working with Vivenu or another ticketing system preferred   

  • Prior customer service or event experience is a plus   

Skills & Abilities   

  • Dependable and able to work scheduled shifts   

  • Positive attitude and strong team-first mentality   

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills   

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail   

  • Service-oriented with the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment   

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
