This is an exciting opportunity to be part of game day operations for Long Beach’s newest professional baseball team. We’re looking for energetic, dependable individuals who are passionate about creating an outstanding fan experience.
Position Overview
The Ballpark Operations Associate plays a key role in delivering a safe, efficient, and memorable experience for fans on game days. This position is cross-functional, with staff rotating between roles such as ushering, parking operations, box office support, and concessions assistance.
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role that requires strong communication, adaptability, and a team-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Ushering
The Ballpark Operations Associate plays a key role in delivering a safe, efficient, and memorable experience for fans on game days. This position is cross-functional, with staff rotating between roles such as ushering, parking operations, box office support, and concessions assistance.
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role that requires strong communication, adaptability, and a team-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Ushering
- Assist with ticket scanning and direct guests to seating sections
- Monitor seating areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and accessibility
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, and requests in a professional manner while greeting them in a friendly manner
Parking Operations
- Direct vehicle traffic efficiently before, during, and after games
- Assist fans with parking instructions and general wayfinding
- Maintain safe and organized parking lot flow
- Communicate with supervisors regarding capacity and any issues
Box Office Support
- Assist with ticket sales, will call distribution, and customer inquiries
- Operate ticketing systems and handle transactions accurately
- Resolve ticketing issues with a customer-first approach
Concessions & Operations Support
- Support concessions staff with restocking, running orders and maintaining cleanliness
- Assist with inventory movement and general operational needs
- Ensure concession areas remain organized and efficient
General Game Day Duties
- Assist with stadium setup and breakdown before and after games
- Support promotional activities and in-game entertainment as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or operations staff
- Be flexible and ready to rotate between roles throughout the event
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on various responsibilities
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors
- Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays during the season
Preferred Attributes
- Interest in live events, entertainment, or baseball
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-traffic situations
- Customer Service experience is a plus

Hourly Rate: $16.90

Schedule Requirements
Must be available for all home games and select stadium events from May through September, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
