About the Role
The Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers are seeking motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic Game Day Interns to assist with all aspects of home game operations. This role offers hands-on experience in sports operations, promotions, and event management, making it ideal for students or individuals interested in pursuing a career in sports, entertainment, or live events.
Game Day Interns are essential to creating a smooth, fun, and engaging experience for fans at the ballpark.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with in-game promotions, contests, and giveaways
- Supporting the on-field host, mascot, and game presentation staff
- Helping with pre-game setup and post-game breakdown
- Fan engagement and customer service throughout the ballpark
- Distributing promotional items and assisting with theme nights
- Supporting front office staff with game-day needs as assigned
- Ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for all fans
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Comfortable interacting with fans of all ages
- Available to work nights and weekends
