Innovation Baseball (“IBP”) seeks a full-time Corporate Partnerships Analyst, reporting to the SVP, Partnerships. IBP is an ownership group and operating company building a portfolio of independent minor league baseball teams. We believe in the magic of baseball as a force for good. The Corporate Partnerships Analyst will be a central support resource for partnership development across IBP’s portfolio. The role will focus on research, outbound prospecting, pipeline management, and cross-functional coordination to support high-quality partner acquisition and onboarding. They will work closely with the SVP of Partnerships and club-level partnership leads to maintain systems, gather insights, prepare materials, and ensure seamless handoff and fulfillment across all properties.
1. Prospect Research, Lead Generation & Intelligence - Build and maintain target lead lists across key categories across the portfolio
- Conduct deep company, brand, and executive research to qualify opportunities
- Prepare category analyses, prospect briefs, and market intelligence reports
- Track industry trends, announcements, M&A activity, and regional business movement
- Identify new categories and emerging verticals aligned with each club's fan base and community impact
2. Outbound Outreach & Pipeline Support - Draft initial outreach emails, coordinate intro scheduling, and manage follow-ups
- Maintain outbound volume and consistency across three markets
- Support call prep with briefs and backgrounders for each meeting
- Own day-to-day SponsorCX entry, hygiene, updates, and workflow management
- Maintain universal pipeline dashboards across all properties
- Prepare weekly status reports, category prospect lists, and meeting summaries
- Input deal points summaries and coordinate with Finance/Legal on contract tracking
3. Partnership Proposal Development & Deal Strategy - Support the early-stage strategic development of partnership proposals by translating prospect research, category insights, and partner objectives into clear commercial narratives and opportunity frameworks.
- Build partner-specific proposal outlines that define:
- Partnership objectives and success criteria
- Strategic alignment between IBP, the club(s), and the prospective partner
- Core platforms (brand visibility, content, community, hospitality, promotions, data, etc.)
- Recommended assets, entitlements, and activation concepts
- Term, investment ranges, and high-level deal structure
- Develop written proposal content including partnership overviews, concept descriptions, activation summaries, and benefit rationales, ensuring messaging is concise, persuasive, and consistent with IBP’s positioning.
- Collaborate with the SVP of Partnerships and club-level leads to pressure-test ideas, refine scopes, and prioritize concepts based on partner fit, revenue potential, and operational feasibility.
- Create baseline asset menus and modular packages that can be customized across properties while maintaining consistency in valuation logic and storytelling.
- Translate verbal deal discussions and discovery call insights into clear proposal direction for the marketing/design team, including key messages, required slides/sections, and priority emphasis.
- Support development of financial and commercial components, including investment levels, multi-year structures, upsell pathways, and renewal logic.
- Ensure proposals reflect scalable thinking across IBP’s portfolio, identifying where cross-property opportunities or league-style concepts may strengthen value.
- Maintain and evolve a central library of proposal frameworks, case studies, and best-in-class examples to improve speed and consistency.
- Assist in preparing internal summaries and talking points for proposal reviews, pitch meetings, and follow-up conversations.
4. Partner Onboarding, Setup & Internal Coordination - Support onboarding for newly signed partners: asset checklists, kickoff calls, deliverables timelines
- Coordinate with club-level partnerships leads on handoffs and execution needs
- Manage data sharing, asset needs, credential requests, and internal flow of information
- Ensure alignment between IBP central services and local club teams
Candidate Profile - 1 - 3 years experience in partnerships, sponsorship, sports/entertainment, or business development
- Strong research acumen and comfort synthesizing large sets of information
- Excellent writing skills for outreach, briefs, and proposal content
- Highly organized with strong project management habits
- Experience with CRM tools (SponsorCX a plus)
- Comfortable working across multiple properties, markets, and brand identities
- Creative storyteller who can work closely with design resources
- Ambitious, self-motivated, and eager to grow into a sales-facing role over time
Location
- California-based (Bay Area, Sacramento, or Southern California preferred)
- Hybrid/remote flexibility
- Must be able to attend meetings and events with local partners and clubs as needed. Some travel to IBP club markets may be required.
Compensation & Incentives
Base Salary: $60,000 to 70,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic considerations.
- Incentive Compensation: Eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan designed to reward revenue partnerships and sponsorship sales.

Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, market factors, and internal equity.
