Graphic Designer & Content Creator Job Posting 

The Glacier Range Riders are looking to hire a full-time Graphic Designer & Content Creator. In this role, you will support a professional baseball team and a state-of-the-art baseball facility in the promotion of games, events, and amenities through high-level visual story-telling and dynamic copy. We are a lean team with many responsibilities; The right candidate will be a graphic designer at their core with the ability to independently take an idea from concept to final review and publication with minimal support, so having strong original writing skills is critical. You will play a pivotal role in establishing our in-house branding assets and processes, and be a primary contributor to creating and publishing engaging content for social media and other digital platforms.  

This is not a remote position; the desired in-person start date is no later than May 13, 2024. This role has game-day responsibilities and attendance at all home games is required. Primary responsibilities for this role will include: 

  1. Branding: Ensure brand standards (logos, typography, quality, content) are consistently met across all graphics, visual elements, materials, and templates. Manage and organize creative assets and content files to ensure accessibility for all team members.  
  2. Graphic Design: Fulfill graphic design needs and ordering for a full spectrum of projects, including imagery and video for social media, print/digital advertising, marketing materials, sales collateral and presentations, signage and large format design, custom branded apparel, and in-house short promo and informational videos. Responsibilities include coordinating with external partners and vendors to complete projects efficiently. 
  3. Social Media: Be a key contributor in maintaining a comprehensive content calendar for all social channels; This includes planning, producing, and scheduling/publishing posts, videos, and campaigns. Assist in the development and execution of an online engagement strategy and guidelines. 
  4. Digital Content: Assist in the development and execution of digital strategies to inform, engage, and grow a passionate fan base and drive business growth. Responsibilities include the end-to-end management of frequent email campaigns to various audiences, and assisting with updating websites to include copy, images, and video.  
  5. Photography & Videography: Participate in scripting, capturing, editing, and organizing high quality photographs and video footage to promote the team, facility, and league, hosted and community events, partnerships, ballpark amenities, etc.  
  6. Operations: Provide graphic design support to the production team and ensure all imagery in the live stadium environment adheres to brand standards. 

Qualifications: 

  1. Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop. Ability to edit and produce videos in Premiere. After Effects experience is desirable. 
  2. Strong graphic design skills including branding, typography, styles and layout techniques, and understanding of color usage. 
  3. Ability to customize motion graphics templates to create branded video content. 
  4. Ability to design to vendor specifications; must be able to communicate effectively on color process, print finish, paper weight, cutting, folding instructions, etc. to achieve desired product. 
  5. Strong ability to write original content and edit copy.  
  6. Experience creating engaging content to grow audiences on social media for businesses.  
  7. Experience editing websites such as uploading and switching out photos, changing copy, and creating blog posts.  
  8. High attention to details, accuracy, and quality in all areas, from design to spelling and grammar. 
  9. Must be organized and able to multitask, prioritize, and meet timelines for many projects at a time. 
  10. Experience using project management software (such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, Asana) to organize work and collaborate with a team is preferred.  
  11. Great verbal and written communication skills. Must facilitate collaboration and incorporate feedback from many stakeholders while ensuring final project aligns with organizational goals. 
  12. Passion and interest in sports and hospitality; stays current on creative trends in sports, music, entertainment, and lifestyle.
