Magnus Sports Group (parent company of Yakkertech and BaseballCloud) and Perfect Game are creating a collaborative partnership focusing on integrating 40+ in-game Yakkertech ball tracking systems into PG's event model. This initiative is set to revolutionize amateur baseball analytics, offering advanced data tracking and analysis capabilities to this market for the first time, thereby enhancing experiences for players, coaches, and parents. 

The ‘tagging’ of these in-game systems is key in ensuring accurate data for all stakeholders. Perfect Game and Yakkertech are looking for ambitious candidates that are looking to gain valuable hands-on experience to build their resume in the sports analytics space. 

Compensation: $25/game
Reporting Structure: Field Analyst’s will report directly to the Yakkertech Site Managers 

Key Responsibilities: 

Position: Yakkertech Field Analyst
Atlanta, GA, Lee County, FL, Tomball, TX 

Yakkertech Tagging 
  • Learn to effectively utilize Game and BP modes inside the Yakkertech user interface – training will be provided by the Site Manager 
  • Arrive on site promptly to ensure rosters and the tagging UI are ready to go in advance of the first inning of assigned games 
  • Use knowledge of baseball to correctly identify players, pitch types, and play results 
  • Assist the Site Managers at your PG location with miscellaneous tasks they could encounter for support/recalibration of systems 

Company Representation 
  • Professionally represent both Magnus Sports Group and Perfect Game in your appearance and demeanor 
  • Respond as trained to any technical difficulties on site to maximize up-time of the Yakkertech systems 
  • Respond as trained to questions asked by players, parents, coaches, and scouts, or refer interested parties to the Site Manager
