Regional Director – Hoover, AL

Job Description
Perfect Game is looking for an experienced Regional Director to join our Hoover team! This is an exciting opportunity to organize and execute youth and high school baseball tournaments throughout the Alabama region while working closely with the Perfect Game Operations team nationwide.

During the season, you'll be responsible for tournament scheduling, customer service, staffing, equipment procurement, merchandise support, warehouse inventory, greeting coaches and players, and ensuring the successful execution of all on-site event operations.

In addition to managing event logistics, you'll provide day-to-day leadership to a small event staff by assigning responsibilities, coordinating workflows, coaching team members, and ensuring operations are executed efficiently while delivering an exceptional experience for teams, coaches, and families.

Following each event, you'll oversee vendor payments, inventory management, and financial reconciliation to ensure accurate event closeout.

During the off-season, you'll play an integral role in sales, field acquisition, hiring and onboarding seasonal staff, training team members, and planning future events. You'll also help identify opportunities to improve operational processes and contribute to the continued growth of the Alabama region.

You'll regularly collaborate with other Perfect Game departments—including Showcases, Accounting, Analytics, Social Media, and Account Management—as well as externally with teams, high school and college coaches, and facility partners. A strong focus on growing the region by promoting and selling Perfect Game tournaments is essential.

This is a full-time, salaried position with work performed both in the office and on-site at events. Local travel throughout the Alabama region is required, along with occasional travel to other areas as needed. National travel of approximately 10–15 weeks per year may also be required, including travel to Perfect Game events in Florida, Georgia, Texas, Iowa, and other locations as the organization continues to grow.

Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in event operations.
  • Experience in the game of baseball is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate a small team in a fast-paced event environment.
  • Customer-focused with a willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience in marketing and sales.
  • Experience with event reconciliation.
  • Ability to think on your feet, handle conflict, and solve problems in the moment.
  • Willingness to travel and be away from home for 2–10 days at a time.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Interview Process
If your background matches what we're looking for, you'll be invited to participate in the first step of our recruitment process: a one-way video interview. This is your opportunity to showcase your experience and tell us why you'd be a great addition to the team. If you're a perfect fit for Perfect Game, we can't wait to meet you!
