General Terms of Internship
Position – Merchandise / Inventory Operations Intern
Stipend - $500 / month
Dates Off - Minimum two-week notice required. (Emergencies Understood)
Primary Duties:
Tournament Prep
- Active involvement in ordering and receiving new shipments.
- Coordinating sizes with corresponding event types. (Youth vs. High School)
- Managing inventories
- Planning and executing distribution of merchandise and tickets to on-site sales staff.
On Site
- Ensure high levels of satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Evaluate and oversee merchandise and ticket sales staff at various locations.
- Recommend and display items that match the customer’s needs.
- Manage point of sales and processes using the square app.
Tournament Wrap Up:
- Coordinating the collection of merchandise and tickets from all locations and staff.
- Ensuring all merchandise and tickets is accounted for and returned (back to the office or in storage).
- Monitoring sales performance of products for future reference
- Verifying correct inventories after sales.
- Reporting all information and coordination back to the on-site sales manager.
