Part-Time Team Store Coordinator

The Tacoma Rainiers are looking for a highly organized, customer-focused Part-Time Team Store Coordinator to support our retail operations at Cheney Stadium. This role works closely with the Director of Merchandise and plays a key part in delivering an exceptional fan shopping experience – both in-store and online.  This will be a primarily in season position, starting in March and running through September.  This position will average around 30 hours a week and up to 40 hours a week during game weeks.  This position will primarily work Monday through Friday during daytime hours but may be asked to work evening or weekends if needed.  

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of how merchandising operates within the professional sports landscape.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Merchandise with day-to-day Team Store operations 
  • Fulfill and process online orders accurately and efficiently
  • Receive incoming merchandise shipments and assist with inventory organization 
  • Restock sales floor and maintain visual merchandising standards
  • Provide excellent customer service to fans in the Team Store
  • Assist with inventory counts, product organization, and stock management
  • Help ensure the Team Store is game-day ready and visually appealing


Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous customer service or retail experience required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in sports merchandising, retail operations, or the business side of sports
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting merchandise as needed
