About the Job:
At Cheney Stadium you will have the unique experience of working in both a professional baseball and professional soccer environment.  As the Director of Partner Services, you will lead a small team of individuals whose primary responsibility is the relationship with our corporate partners. You will interface with media and corporate partners at all levels of their organizations to service, activate, and fulfill contractual elements including promotions, media, signage, hospitality, community events, and game day initiatives. You will also work closely with multiple internal departments, including Corporate Partner Sales, Graphic Design, Game Entertainment, Marketing, Ticketing, and Stadium Operations.

Job Objective:
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this position will support various marketing initiatives as well as the fulfillment of all corporate partner agreements. As Director of Partner Services Manager, you will be responsible in cultivating strong relationships with current and potential corporate partners to meet and exceed expectations of our sponsors.  

  • Manage the Partner Services Team, by meeting regularly and verifying execution of all partner related duties (including seasonal intern program); 
  • Develop strong relationships with partners and become a liaison between partners and team; 
  • Support the Corporate Partners Sales team in preparation for presentations and meetings and communicate available inventory to partnership sales team; 
  • Manage all high level accounts both in season and off season, including execution and fulfillment of their partnership elements; 
  • Collaborate with Marketing team, Corporate Partner Sales and Game Entertainment to create and outline Rainiers marketing initiatives and partner promotions; 
  • Manage the development of proof of performance reporting; 
  • Communicate partner objectives, sales, and community development initiatives with appropriate staff; 
  • Act as a marketing and advertising consultant to sponsor contracts to ensure effective campaigns are crafted and executed using Rainiers inventory; 
  • Oversee on-field/in-game execution of all promotions; 
  • Lead in the execution of all promotional marketing plans (i.e. monitoring on-site activations, promotional giveaways, web and social media platforms, etc.) and support all partner events on-site and off-site; 
  • Assist with the execution of all hospitality elements and events (gamedays and non-gamedays)
  • Coordinate/schedule gameday seat visits, first pitches, video board welcomes, mascot visits and suite/party deck visits; 
  • Facilitating the Official Game Program including production, print timelines, all ads submitted;  
  • Coordinating all high level signage; 
  • Capture photos and documentation of all promotions, events and contractual obligations to maintain an accurate image library for Annual Reports.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in corporate partnership management or similar
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop strong working relationships/rapport with partners, coworkers and other stakeholders
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in a team based environment
  • Ability to successfully work with many different personality types
  • Strong time management and administrative skills
  • Must be a self-starter, problem solver and have decision-making ability
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have reliable transportation
