We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our creative team for the 2026 season as a Graphic Design Assistant. This is a seasonal, part-time position (20-25 hours per week starting in January 2026) that will serve to aid the efforts of the Graphic Designer within the Marketing Department.
Responsibilities
- Work on digital projects including social media graphics, LED signage, in-game content, roadside signage, and web graphics
- Design print materials including ads, flyers, programs, posters, and schedules
- Assist the graphic designer in the creative direction of the team and its outlets
- Ensure that brand standards and guidelines are consistently adapted across all content
- Update weekly promotional and social graphics as needed
- Create, print, and laminate parking passes, discount cards, flyers, and badges
- Create and replace promotional posters in the ballpark before every homestand
Required Traits
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working under a deadline in a fast-paced sports environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box
- Strong organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Quick learner with the ability to work well under pressure/tight deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and courteous to colleagues, event staff, sponsors, and fans
Qualifications
- Candidate should have a demonstrated understanding of design best practices, layout, and typography
- Ability to formulate design concepts from idea to completion
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Knowledge of standard photography techniques (preferred but not required)
- General knowledge of baseball
- Local candidates preferred but will accept applications from out-of-state candidates, however out of state candidates will be required to find their own housing.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from Dell Diamond and other events
- Must be willing to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays (as necessary)
- Willingness to work for $12.00 per hour. Our team is further willing to assist with data required for college credit.
