Game Entertainment & Promotions Team 

This is an amazing opportunity for those to obtain experience in sports marketing, game entertainment and promotions. This is a game-centric position within the Marketing Department of the team, and will be responsible for working a variety of duties to enhance the game experience for our fans. The entertainment team is expected to have a positive and outgoing attitude and work diligently while entertaining a crowd. Additionally, to being a source of entertainment for our fans, you also become an ambassador in the community for the Express and our parent company Ryan Sanders Baseball.

 The position offers the following: 

  • This is fun, fast-paced opportunity that will add real work experience in sports to your resume 
  • Career related hands-on experience learning how to manage in-game promotions and community marketing and their connection to sponsorship fulfillment 
  • Valuable experience in the baseball industry, with full training and the opportunity to work closely with members of the Express front office staff 
  • We will assist with any internship or college credit if needed 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Serve as an ambassador for the Express at games and events in the community 
  • Provide a high level of entertainment and customer service to fans, season ticket members and sponsors 
  • Ensure proper execution of Express on-field promotions, activities, and events 
  • Bring energy to the ballpark for fans of all ages in the form of a spirited attitude, leading cheers, and dugout antics/dances 
  • Participate in game day setup including securing props, distributing giveaway items, decorating for theme nights, printing materials and staffing check-ins 
  • Wear costumes to match theme nights and participate in mascot races or other costumed events 
  • Be a part of our mascot program for community events in rotation with fellow team members 
  • Represent the Express in the community by helping deliver marketing collateral to local businesses and meeting with people 
  • Complete other marketing projects as instructed by management; may include tasks such as cutting flyers, laminating, data entry, making goody bags, etc. 
Work Environment  
  • This is a team position; you must work well with a team as you will be working closely with these people a lot. 
  •  The position is in a stadium mainly where noise/crowd levels greatly vary.  
  • The position is subject to varying temperatures and weather extremes. 
  • The position has physical demands that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee will regularly stand, sit, walk, run, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.  
  • Nature of position requires physical mobility and the ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds. 
  • The vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. 
Qualifications: 
  • Highschool or college aged applicants who can work majority, if not all of our season  
  • Flexible schedule for nights, weekends and holidays during the baseball season 
  • Comfortable entertaining and being in front of crowds 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  • Ability to successfully multi-task, problem solve, and maintain organization 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a group and under pressure 
  • Ability to be able to meet physical demands of the job which requires standing, running, walking, and engaging in physical activities with fans and guests
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
