Title:  Business Assistant                  
Department: Front Office
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time
Reports To: VP/General Manager

Summary:
The Business Assistant will assist with administrative personnel tasks, support for sales personnel, and general office tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports
  • Interact with and supply information to job applicants, employees, and public and private agencies
  • Complete event and general staff schedules
  • Assist with the direction of event staff at various events
  • Provide clerical and operational support to VP/General Manager related to human resources and general office and sales projects
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all financial and personnel records and information
  • Other duties may be assigned

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • At least one year of prior accounting, finance or cash management experience preferred 
  • Experience in human resources is preferred
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong math aptitude and ability to attend to detail
  • Ability to process work with accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and database programs
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Regular and predictable attendance required
  • Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends and holidays
