Position Overview:
The Premium Sales Manager will be responsible for managing all weekly outside sales meetings, attending new outside sales representative outbound meetings, and mentoring sales reps. The Premium Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of the suite sales process including managing suite inventory, prospecting for new business, and closing new business. This position will also be responsible for selling all premium products throughout Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Premium Sales Manager will also work with the partnership sales team to identify, cultivate, and sell partnership packages to prospects.
The position carries ownership of premium inventory performance and requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution to drive revenue growth. This position will also work closely with the Partnerships team to sell partnership packages to premium ticket clients.
The Premium Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the Vice President and Ticketing leadership to build a bottoms-up revenue budget for all premium products and spaces. This individual will be responsible for managing performance against that budget, while also assisting in the development and oversight of any related expense budgets.
Additionally, this role is expected to bring vision and innovation to the premium product portfolio—continuously evaluating, evolving, and enhancing offerings to drive long-term growth and fan experience. A forward-thinking, ownership mindset is critical, as this role will help shape the future of premium experiences at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage weekly B2B sales meetings to generate and share best practices
- Attend weekly meetings with new B2B representatives to grow and develop their sales process
- Meet or exceed established monthly and/or yearly revenue and sales goals set for new business and renewals
- Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods
- Regularly interact with partnership sales team to understand inventory and sales prospects
- Create new programs that lead to the generation of referrals from existing book of business
- Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including but not limited to: networking events, speaking engagements, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games and outside meetings
- Meet daily and weekly appointment goals
- Opportunity to represent the Comets organization in face-to-face interactions throughout the Oklahoma City community
- Participation in monthly all-sales staff training
- Weekly department meetings and one-on-one sessions with supervisor
- Uphold the highest level of customer service
- Chart all activity in DBH360
- Assist in building and managing premium revenue and expense budgets in collaboration with leadership
- Contribute to the strategic vision and evolution of premium products and experiences
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sport Management, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in ticket or other B2B and B2C sales
- 2+ year of sales leadership experience
- Sales minded, leadership professional
- Proven ability to build, develop and retain a staff
- Team above self-mentality
- High personal accountability
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Desire to cultivate strong relationships within and outside of the organization
- Ability to be creative, take calculated risks and strive to better the standing of the organization
