Job Description
The Oklahoma City Comets are looking for a self-motivated and hard-working individual interested in maintaining Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, a first-class facility, through Operations. Under direction of the Clubhouse Manager, the Home Clubhouse Assistant is responsible for executing and maintaining a quality clubhouse for the Oklahoma City Comets. It is a vital role of the clubhouse staff to provide unsurpassed customer service to players, coaches, MLB/MiLB personnel, umpires, league officials, and special entertainment acts. While this position manages the day-to-day aspects of home clubhouse, all staff members are expected to enhance the overall culture and success of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Pre- and Post-Game meals, snacks, other items as requested
· Daily cleaning of all areas of the clubhouse including but not limited to main areas of clubhouse, bathrooms, coaches offices, training room, weight room, batting cages, dugouts, bullpens and laundry room
· Perform laundry for the all Comets players and personnel (personals, uniforms, staff shirts, towels, etc)
· Assist with the coordinate and execute equipment transfer between Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and Will Rogers World Airport
· Assist with the coordination all team packing, loading/unloading of bags and trunks for all bus trips or when bags are sent via FedEx Custom Critical
· Work within the budget to provide all the required items within the clubhouse amenities standards.
· Provide and setup the home dugout and bullpen
· Any other jobs that are necessary to improving the overall operations of the clubhouse
· Additional duties as assigned by the Clubhouse Manager
Requirements:
· Clubhouse management experience required
· AAA or MLB clubhouse experience preferred
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Ability to work in fast-paced environment
· Ability to be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without restraint
· Good team player with great attitude
· Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights and weekends
