Director of Premium Sales with Memphis Redbirds
 Report to VP of Sales & Marketing

The Memphis Redbirds are searching for a self-motivated, organized person to oversee all aspects of premium sales for the organization. The Director will be responsible for increasing revenue through full menu of premium products. The primary focus for this position will be suites, 4-Tops, memberships, hospitality areas and group ticket sales for Memphis Redbirds & other events at AutoZone Park.  Comprehensive benefits package including but not limited to health, dental, life, LTD, AD&D & 401K. Duties & Responsibilities

-        Work closely with President & Vice President on overall strategic plan for premium sales department for AutoZone Park
-        Oversee and provide sales strategy, hire, train, motivate & manage day-to-day premium sales department staff with up to 20 team members
-        Establish cross-selling strategies among department and other sports properties 
-        Manage of all premium sales & services including season memberships, suites, groups, hospitality areas & specialty packages
-        Develop and create various types of ticket packages to increase revenue & attendance
-        Create, implement new sales, retention and utilization plans for membership program
-        Develop & maintain membership programs & benefits
-        Manage strategic call campaigns, group ticket theme nights, sales contest & lead generation initiatives
-        Manage relationship with official club catering service to reach ultimate fan satisfaction
-        Work with Ticket Operations managing ticket and premium inventory
-        Responsible for tracking & reporting sales on daily, weekly annual basis to accounting & senior leadership
-        Communicate effectively & professionally with other departments to reach overall team goals
-        Responsible for department budget & revenue forecasts 
-        Provide excellent customer service to all clients
-        Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by Senior Leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in related field (business, marketing & sports management)
 - 5+ year of sales experience 
 - 2+ years of management experience
 - Experience in SCORE CRM, is preferable 
 - Experience in sales training programs
 - Ability to interact externally with senior executives and internally with senior leadership
 - Proficient in basic computer software programs (Outlook, Word & Excel)
