This part-time position will assist the finance and accounting department specifically as an accounts payable assistant and accomplishes tasks involving payments and managing invoices.
In this role you may also include offering support in other daily activities for accounting.
Duties:
  • Handle accounting ledgers by validating and forwarding account operations
  • Certify vendor accounts by validating monthly statements and affiliated transactions
  • Handle historical documents by filing records
  • Safeguard organization’s value by preserving confidential information
  • Create new or preserve vendor records according to unit procedures and policies
  • Process all forms of payment options
  • Work on and print checks, as well as promptly acknowledge inquires from administration and staff with regards to issues of invoicing and others.
Requirements – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Must have the ability to handle general ledgers and precisely organize, input, supervise, and audit accounts payable procedures and processes
  • Excellent in maintaining confidentiality
  • Outstanding interrelations skills, team building spirit, and ability to resolve issues in a dynamic manner
  • Excellent bookkeeping, communication, and decision making skills
  • Sufficient knowledge of auditing and entering of documents with precision
  • Must have the ability to handle stress and manage time effectively
  • Must possess attributes of respectfulness, honesty, integrity, and flexibility
  • Must have the ability to cope with frequent interruptions
  • Must be able to provide a four-five hour work day. We are flexible whether it is mornings or afternoons.
