The El Paso Chihuahuas are looking to hire a Edgertronic Camera Operator for all their home games in 2024. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of the development of our players. An Edgertronic Camera Operator will be working with the camera that has quickly gained currency in baseball, thanks to its ability to capture video at 1,000 frames per second, allowing for a much better view of a pitcher's grip and the spin and motion of the ball than any traditional video camera.
Duties:
- Setup and operate Edgertronic Camera for each game.
- Operate camera during the game by adjusting lens focus and aperture, during lighting changes.
- Engage in shots when the home team’s catcher receives a pitch.
- Download data from the camera to send to the Padres each game.
- Employee must be available for all games at least 30 minutes before first pitch.
Experience:
- Must have excellent knowledge of baseball.
- Must have previous still camera experience and strong technical aptitude, or experience in video scouting or data analytics.
- Must be 18 year’s of age or older.
- Must be willing to work all home games.
This is a seasonal job that pays a per game rate for all games.
