• Monday thru Friday - 8:30 am-5:00 pm: Sales of advertising, individual and group ticket packages, aiding in ticket office and catering operations. Sales are the highest priority during this time unless instructed otherwise by the President/General Manager or Director of Group Sales. Sales & coordination work w/ Little League Sales Manager. Attendance at community events, such as Little League registrations & openings will be required.
• Monday thru Thursday - 6:00 pm-8:00 pm: Sales of Bonus Books, including prospecting, cold calling, and renewals.
IN-SEASON DUTIES: Group sales, corporate event planning, aiding in ticket office and catering operations, printing of group tickets, daily coordination of group events including set-up, client support and customer relations. A targeted focus on sales & coordination of Little League groups will be a priority.
REQUIREMENTS: Ability to solve problems, inter-personal skills, customer service, ability to think on one's feet, self-motivated, basic computer skills (Word, Excel), basic math, self-motivated, willingness to assist all other departments when needed. This is an “internship opportunity” & will be treated as such. While there will be guidance & structure, the intern is expected to create his or her own opportunities through personal initiative & aggressiveness in his or her sales efforts.
