Job Title: Mascot Handler
Location: Oriole Park at Camden Yards – Baltimore, MD

Job Description:
The Baltimore Orioles seek a part-time Mascot Handler for game days. This is a seasonal position that will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting the Oriole Bird performer around the ballpark with pregame ceremonies, in-seat appearance, fan opportunities, and misc. events
- Positively representing and promoting the Baltimore Orioles brand at Orioles home games
- Being responsible and accountable to work schedules, arriving on time, and remaining for the duration of games and events
- Exhibiting strong verbal communication skills while escorting the Oriole Bird
- Demonstrating a friendly personality and ability to interact with fans
- Fostering a fun, safe, and professional atmosphere at Orioles home games and events
- Maintaining a professional demeanor while escorting the Oriole Bird
- Various event-related responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- 1-3 years’ experience in sports or event-related field is preferred
- Must be able to work at least 50% of Orioles home games including nights and weekends
- Must be flexible and willing to work long hours
- Ability to work weekday business hours if possible
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

- Athletic and physically fit enough to escort the Oriole Bird around the ballpark during games
- Outgoing and ready to handle anything presented
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, think creatively, and problem solve
