Serving as the contact and strategic advisor for assigned partners, the Manager will oversee all aspects of the partnership lifecycle—from onboarding through execution and ultimately renewal. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Renewals, Retention & Growth (Primary Focus)
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a defined portfolio of high-value partners, with an emphasis on retention and renewal strategy.
  • Lead annual renewal processes—developing and presenting strategic recommendations, performance recaps, and upsell opportunities in collaboration with Partnership Sales leadership.
  • Proactively engage partners to assess satisfaction, measure ROI, and ensure alignment with business objectives through business reviews and year-end meetings to demonstrate value, and set the stage for multi-year renewals.
  • Track renewal and upsell progress through detailed pipeline reporting; communicate results and forecasts to senior management.
  • Identify evolving partner priorities and translate them into new opportunities for growth and expanded engagement.
Relationship Management & Client Service
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships across all levels of partner organizations, including executive leadership, marketing, and community engagement teams.
  • Serve as a consultative partner—helping clients navigate the Orioles’ platforms, audience insights, and brand opportunities.
  • Host and support partners at home games and events, ensuring premium service and meaningful engagement.
Activation & Execution
  • Direct internal teams in the fulfillment of all partnership assets, including digital, broadcast, in-ballpark signage, community initiatives, and experiential activations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Game Presentation, Operations, and Community Impact to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all contract elements.
  • Oversee the development of proof-of-performance recaps and creative deliverables produced by internal marketing resources while supporting department-wide initiatives such as Partner Summits, sponsor networking events, and VIP hospitality programs.
Leadership & Team Contribution
  • Serve as a department leader and mentor—coaching junior staff and interns on best practices in client service, renewals, and activation excellence.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team culture centered on accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:
  • Demonstrated success in renewing and growing corporate partnerships, ideally within a professional sports or entertainment organization.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with senior executives.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze partner needs, identify new opportunities, and tell compelling value stories.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple partnerships and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills. Team-focused with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; Salesforce, PowerPoint/Keynote, and Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of partnership activation, sponsorship sales (team, league, agency, or brand).
