Job Title: Family Services Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Family Services Coordinator plays a key role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for the families of our Major League players and staff. This position serves as a reliable point of contact and resource, helping families feel connected and cared for throughout the season and offseason. From managing the in-park family spaces to assisting with events and travel logistics, the Coordinator supports the overall well-being and experience of our player families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Family Space Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the in-park family and childcare areas, ensuring they remain safe, comfortable, and engaging environments for families of all ages. - Event Planning & Execution:
Design and deliver meaningful experiences for player families, including game-day gatherings, seasonal celebrations, and off-site excursions. - Regional Expertise:
Leverage deep knowledge of the Baltimore region to connect families with local resources, attractions, services, and events tailored to their interests and needs. - Family Road Trips:
Coordinate and travel with families during organized team road trips, managing logistics and ensuring a seamless experience. - 24/7 Support:
Serve as a primary point of contact for player families, offering around-the-clock support and responding to both large and small requests with empathy, discretion, and professionalism. - Ticketing & Gameday Logistics:
Assist with ticket allocations, parking locations, and related logistics for player families, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of tickets, parking passes, and other related gameday information. - Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong, trusting relationships with families, understanding their unique needs and preferences to provide personalized support. - Administrative Support:
Provide day-to-day administrative assistance including scheduling, record-keeping, expense tracking, and communications related to family services.
Qualifications:
- Experience in hospitality, concierge services, family services, event planning, or player engagement—preferably in sports or entertainment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with Baltimore’s neighborhoods, culture, entertainment options and recreational offerings.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel.
- Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to spend majority of February and March in Sarasota, Florida during Spring Training.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.

The anticipated salary for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 annually depending on experience.
