Job Title: Authentics Assistant

Job Description:
The Baltimore Orioles are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to join as an Authentics Assistant for the 2026 season. The Authentics Assistant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Orioles Authentics, including running the Authentics store on gamedays, performing back-end tasks on non-gamedays, and collaborating with MLB.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate Authentics Store during games
- Oversee MLB Authentication process
- Manage master inventory
- Accurately track sales during store hours
- Communicate club authentication requests to clubhouse and MLB Authenticators
- Monitor and respond to customer emails and phone inquiries
- Conduct merchandise sales through email and phone
- Work with Community Relations on Authentics initiatives
- Build weekly auctions and submit them to the MLB Authentication team
- Package and create shipping labels for all online purchases
- Other projects when assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of the Orioles, MLB, and baseball in general
- Ability to work independently without supervision for long periods of time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Background in retail sales or customer service preferred
- Basic knowledge of Word and Excel
General Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Must be able to work 32-40 hours per week (including nights, weekends and holidays)
- Must be available to work a majority of Orioles home games
- Must be a team-first player with an enthusiastic and outgoing personality

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $15/hour.
