We are seeking a Business Strategy Analyst to help shape transformational decisions that will redefine how our organization operates, engages our community, and achieves sustained excellence on and off the field. In this role, you play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across the Orioles. This role will help translate insights into action — shaping how the organization operates, engages with fans, and grows sustainably on and off the field. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and detail-oriented, with a passion for sports, business strategy, and using data to drive real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Game Plan (Business and Strategic Planning)
- Assist in annual and multi-year business planning across functions (e.g., Marketing, Ticketing, Corporate Partnerships)
- Help define success metrics and track progress toward organizational goals and KPIs
- Develop presentations, reports, and dashboards that clearly communicate business performance and strategic insights to senior leadership
- Inform Big Decisions (Strategic Initiatives)
- Conduct quantitative analyses and research to support key strategic initiatives and identify growth opportunities
- Summarize findings in concise, clear formats for use in leadership discussions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather data, validate assumptions, and inform decision-making
- Drive Innovation and Growth
- Support the development of business cases for new initiatives, partnerships, and technologies
- Track pilot programs and report on their performance against established KPIs
- Benchmark best practices from other sports organizations and industries to identify opportunities for innovation
- Strengthen Collaboration and Efficiency
- Help maintain standardized tools, templates, and processes to improve organizational alignment and communication
- Partner with department leads to transform raw data into actionable insights
- Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups to ensure strategic priorities stay on track
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with strong record of academic achievement
- 2+ years of experience in Consulting, Finance, Strategy, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and identify key insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of creating professional presentations for leadership audiences
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or other data visualization tools a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

The anticipated salary for this role is $75,000-$100,000 annually depending on experience, plus bonus opportunity.
