JOB SUMMARY: The Baltimore Orioles are seeking multiple full-time Hitting Coaches for the 2026 Major League Baseball Championship season. This position will serve as a uniformed coach with the responsibility of executing the organization’s hitting philosophy and individual player plans at the assigned affiliated location.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:
- Design and execute daily hitting practice plans
- Collaborate with hitting coordinators to design and execute individual player plans
- Collaborate with medical staff and strength coaches to identify and correct movement deficiencies
- Utilize analytical tools and data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and development opportunities
- Assist manager, developmental, and fundamental coach in daily on-field practice
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Exceptional organization and communication skills
- Appreciation for the use of data from technologies such as Trackman, Blast Motion, Rapsodo, HitTrax and K-Vest
- Throw batting practice and execute on field/cage work
- Appreciation for functional movement and biomechanical development
- Intrinsically motivated, reliable, and a growth mindset
Desired:
- Former collegiate or professional playing experience
- Ability to speak Spanish

The anticipated salary for this role is $44,000 - $52,000 annually depending on experience.
