The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are looking to hire a full time Director of Marketing & Media to coordinate general marketing practices. The Rafters, currently in its 16th season, are a member of the twenty-four team Northwoods League. The position will serve as an integral member of the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters front office. The marketing and media skilss needed includeds but is not  limited to coordinating social media, digital marketing efforts. and email campaigns.  

Director of Marketing & Media is a full time position that has opportunity for advancement. Candidates must be available to work daytime and evening hours, weekends, and every game-day in-season. This position offers a salary plus a bonus program and health club membership.

Examples of Duties/Essential Functions:
  • Keeping the Rafters brand relevant within the Central Wisconsin community year round. 
  • Coordinate each social media platform and develop a schedule for weekly content.
*Running email campaigns.
*Graphic design
*Digital advertising
*Website content for main website, Web Shop and Lil Rafters site
*In game content production
*Video production.
*Photographer coordination
*Oversee the interns working in game day production including the radio and TV announcer.
*Need to be community oriented and focused on providing a remarkable experience for our fans.  
  • All other duties as assigned by General Manager

Qualification Standards:
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college 
  • Prior experience working in the sports industry is preferred
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Highly motivated with a desire to meet and exceed stipulated goals
  • Customer service oriented
