Why we want you- Sales Manager TC:
We’re looking for a leader to help drive our revenue and take our sales operation to the next level. You’re a self-motivated closer with a track record of building relationships and delivering results. You know how to sell, but just as importantly, you know how to coach others to do the same. You’re organized, goal-oriented, and thrive in a high-energy environment where every day is different. Whether it’s ticket packages, group experiences, or corporate partnerships, you see every conversation as a chance to create value. You’re ready to lead from the front, keep the team focused, and make a real impact on and off the field.

Our team thrives on creativity, hustle, and collaboration. We take pride in delivering awesome fan experiences, and we have fun doing it. Along with typical benefits, you’ll get generous PTO, free baseball tickets (your friends will thank you), paid time off to volunteer, and insider access to community events and concerts. Also, we’re just really great people to work with.

What you’ll do:
You’ll lead the day-to-day sales operation of the Traverse City Pit Spitters, with a focus on group sales, ticket packages, and corporate partnerships. You’ll manage and mentor a talented sales team, set and track goals, and ensure we’re hitting revenue targets. You’ll drive strategy, create outbound prospecting plans, and collaborate across departments to maximize attendance and sponsorship value. You’ll also manage CRM systems, and reporting tools, and play a key role in shaping the fan and client experience. You’ll represent the team at games, networking events, and in the community, building relationships that fuel our business and strengthen our brand.

What you need:
You’ll need at least 2 years of sales leadership experience, ideally in sports, live events, or a related field. You should be confident managing both people and processes, and comfortable balancing big-picture planning with daily execution. A background in corporate partnerships or ticketing is a huge plus. You should be highly organized, goal-driven, and customer-focused with excellent communication skills. You must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and under pressure. Experience with CRMs, ticketing software, and Microsoft Office is helpful. A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or public relations is required, and if you’re leadership-minded, we already like you.
