 The Rockford Rivets are actively seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Sponsorship Intern for the upcoming 2026 season at Rivets Stadium. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work directly under the General Manager and play a crucial role in organizing stadium operations. In addition, you will contribute to pre and post-game ballpark cleanup and support various external events, all of which are vital to enhancing the overall Rockford Rivets fan experience. This summer internship program runs from mid-May to late August, requiring interns to be available for all home games (36) and any additional events assigned throughout the season. The Sponsorship Intern will report directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager with day-to-day tasks.
- Focus on retaining and growing existing partnerships.
- Attend sponsorship sales presentations to align with short and long-term department objectives.
- Provide corporate partners with various media opportunities, both traditional and digital, to boost their brands and achieve maximum exposure through in-venue signage, digital engagement, corporate hospitality, television and radio broadcasts, and more.
- Assist with corporate hospitality, tickets, in-game promotions, and other related activities.
- Execute the approved Annual Business and Sales Plan.
- Create and execute Proof of Performance presentations for each partnership at Rivets Stadium. 
- Work with Photography Interns to capture photos of stadium signage and in-game promotions to complete PoP's.

Required Skills:
- Enrollment in a Business Management, Finance, Marketing, or related major.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes long days, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to take direction and effectively complete assigned tasks.
- Capability to delegate tasks to game-day staff.
- Knowledge or prior experience in sponsorship is preferred.
- Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and great attention to detail.
- Ability to make decisions and problem-solve in high-pressure situations.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, and reach, and to stand and move around for extended periods.
