Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead new partnership sales for the Madison Mallards baseball team and Madison Night Mares softball team. This position will oversee all new business, and will focus on delivering beyond expectations for existing clients. This position will also hit goals set by the organization each calendar year. The position will work closely with existing management to manage all advertising revenue to assure both revenue and profitability goals are met annually.
Corporate Partnerships Expectations
- This position will lead new corporate partnership business for the Madison Mallards and Madison Night Mares.
- Develop and manage corporate partnership assets for both entities.
- Oversee/assist in the drafting of partner proposals and contracts.
- Direct partnership execution through the fulfillment of signage, promotions, tickets, community appearances and digital aspects.
- Maintain positive relationships with all clients/partners to guarantee full contract execution, problem solving when needed, and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage costs related to the execution of partnerships and do not exceed spending budgets.
- Work with the accounting department to make sure all sponsors are billed in a timely manner and are up to date on payments.
- Join several business networking groups and be an active participant.
- Be the face of the teams in the corporate community and focus on new corporate partnership business.
- Ability to establish sponsor budgets and goals for the season.
- Experience leading sponsor presentations, meetings, and relationship-building.
- Establish clearly defined goals for each partner relationship, and update and maintain proper reporting metrics.
- Provide timely and accurate recaps to partners for renewals including full analytics and value of partnership.
- Manage a select CRM process to track activity for sales initiatives.
- Manage and supervise FT staff to execute deliverables as needed.

Requirements:
- Preferred candidates should have 3+ years of experience at a similar level of advertising sales.
- Success in advertising sales or related sales experience.
- Positive attitude.
- Strong demonstrable background as a community leader.
- Proficiency in common industry software (MS Office suite, CRM, ticket system and accounting platforms.)
- Confident to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player

Expectations:
- To attend most Mallards and Night Mares games, approximately 40 per year.
- Initially, there may be call volume or new business development prospecting requirements of the position.
- Schedule a minimum of 2 appointments each day with an expectation of 10 sales or business development appointments per week.
- Accurately record your call history in the CRM system.
- Use CRM to manage all leads.
- Regularly attend networking events.
- Participate in team sales training and sales development sessions.
- Attend any team functions you are invited to.
- Track financial performance in relation to budget and make timely, appropriate adjustments as needed to stay on path for financial goals.
- Develop tracking mechanisms for YTD sales performance across the business and submit weekly to General Manager.
- Other duties as described by the General Manager.

- Pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications of top level sports executives in the country. Bonus structure based on measurable performance goals.
