An entry-level position providing hands-on experience in collegiate summer baseball. Join the Lakeshore Chinooks for the summer to gain a behind-the-scenes experience like no other. You'll learn the ins and outs of a sports organization within the Northwoods League. This is a non-paid, for college credit or work experience position.

The Graphic Design Intern will communicate with front office staff on media promotions, communications and marketing collateral. This intern will be highly motivated to apply their creative design skills to the world of sports entertainment. On game-days this intern will operate the video board at Moonlight Graham Field.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  •  Creating marketing materials used for stadium marketing and promotional advertising
  • Develop marketing materials for ticket and sponsorship fulfillment
  • Develop content for stadium video board & operate video board on game days
  • Responsible for assisting in the production of daily game day field notes
  • Assist with updating, creating, and implementing content for team's website andsocial media platforms
  • Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media, includinginfo-graphics
  • Use the Adobe Creative Suite to create design concepts, graphics and layouts
  • All other duties as assigned
 POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Quality and accuracy of work
  • Must be available for all Chinooks home games (which include weeknights, weekends, and some holidays)
  • Must be available for any Chinooks related special events
  • Completion of assigned tasks on schedule
  • Cooperation, responsiveness, dependability, and proper attitude in dealing with others including co-workers and customers
  • Conformance to company personnel, safety, quality, and housekeeping policies, procedures, and practices
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a current student (undergraduate or graduate)
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization as well as outside contacts
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
