The Kenosha Kingfish, members of the 24 team Northwoods League, the premiere College Wood Bat
League in North America, are looking for a full time Accountant to start immediately. The Kingfish,
established in 2014, play a 72 game schedule (36/home, 36/road) from Memorial Day through mid-
August. Home games are played at 3200 seat Historic Simmons Field in Kenosha, WI. During the 2025
season, the Kingfish averaged just short of 2500 fans per game, the third highest average in the League.
The Kenosha Kingfish are seeking a highly motivated individual that excels in a team environment. The ideal candidate has tremendous written and verbal skills with an ability to stay organized. The position will be responsible for Community appearances and ticket accounts.
1. Community Engagement: This position will be responsible for promoting the team throughout the
community and creating opportunities to present the team in a positive light through, but not
limited to, coordinating and facilitating mascot appearances, staff and team volunteer
opportunities, and involvement in community events that provide additional exposure for the
Kingfish in our community.
a. Reading Program: Expectations for the reading program are to reach all area schools with the offer
before the end of February of 2024. Each school in Racine and Kenosha County is expected to be
visited by the Mascot, pushing the reading program and kids club programs.
b. Kids Club by North Shore Bank: Expectations are for the creation of a strong program that shows steady
growth in 2024. This program should be an emphasis in all of our school visits as well.
c. Community Events: Expectations are to have our organization out and talking to organizers of
community events on a regular basis.
d. Charities: Promote our 50/50 Community Involvement: Work with Ticket Staff on this. All these dates
should be booked prior to the season. Expectations are that these dates will be fully booked before
opening day.
e. Appearances: Get to area businesses: Promote the team by asking area businesses for the opportunity
to come out and promote the team.
f. Mascot: Schedule and coordinate all Mascot appearances.
