Who We're Looking For
Are you awesome on the phone and love the idea of making someone's day? Do you want to be the reason a Little League team has their end-of-season party at the ballpark or a whole school gets to enjoy a day of baseball in the sun? If you’re nodding your head, we should definitely talk.

The Kalamazoo Growlers are looking for an energetic and passionate Sales Account Manager to be the heart of our community sales team. This is an inside sales role, meaning you'll be the friendly voice on the other end of the line, connecting with all the groups that make our community special. You're not just selling tickets; you're creating the core memories that families and community groups will talk about for years.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Be the Hero for Families: You'll be the expert on our wildly popular Zoo Crew memberships, helping families sign up for a summer packed with baseball, fun, and exclusive perks.
  • Rally the Community: You will be the main point of contact for our civic groups. Think schools, churches, non-profits, and youth sports teams. You'll help them plan unforgettable outings, whether it's a field trip, a fellowship night, or the coolest team party ever.
  • Become a Theme Night Guru: You’ll help bring our famous theme nights to life by getting groups excited to participate. From Scout Nights to Bark in the Park, you’ll be the one helping community organizations get in on the fun.
  • Sell the Sizzle: This isn't just about selling tickets; it's about selling an experience. You'll be crafting the perfect package for groups and zoo crew members in your bucket.
  • Master the Happy Phone Call: You’ll spend your day connecting with people, building relationships, and helping them plan the perfect outing at the ballpark, all from our front office.
  • High-Five Your Clients: On game nights, you'll be a key presence, making sure your clients are having a blast and everything is running smoothly. Your clients aren't just accounts; they're our guests.
  • Achieve Your Goals: We're a team that loves to win, and that includes hitting our sales targets. You’ll play a crucial role in hitting our sales targets and ensuring the ballpark is always filled with the amazing energy of our community.
  • Putting in the Work: No one said sales was easy. You'll be expected to produce 60-70 phone calls per day, develop new sales leads, and actively prospect and canvass daily. Maintain call logs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

What We're Looking For
  • You have a positive attitude and an amazing phone presence. You can make anyone smile through the phone.
  • You are passionate about connecting with the community and love the idea of working with schools, churches, and youth sports.
  • You're super organized and can juggle multiple conversations and group plans at once without breaking a sweat.
  • You're a creative problem-solver who can help a group leader plan the perfect, hassle-free event.
  • You're a self-starter with a competitive drive, but you thrive as part of a team.
  • You're a "people person" in the truest sense. You're not afraid to strike up a conversation and can build rapport with anyone.
  • You're organized, self-motivated, and know how to manage your time to get the best results.
  • You understand that working in sports isn't a typical 9-to-5, and you're excited about the energy of game days.

Why You'll Love It Here
You get to be a memory maker! The best part of this job is seeing a huge group of kids or families you brought to the park having the time of their lives. You'll be part of a fun, fast-paced team where your work directly contributes to the laughter and cheers you hear from the stands every game night.
