About the Organization:
The Eau Claire Express begins its 21st year in the summer collegiate Northwoods League. The Northwoods League comprises teams of the top college players from across North America. Each team is operated similarly to a professional minor league team, providing development opportunities to players, front office staff members, interns, and coaches. In addition, the Express operates similarly to other Northwoods League teams, as their players use wooden bats, experience long road trips and overnight stays, and play nightly in front of thousands of fans. The Eau Claire Express plays at Carson Park, located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
The duties of the Videography intern include any or all of the following:
- Capture high-quality photos and videos throughout Carson park, including action shots of games, fan experiences, sponsor activations, and stadium atmosphere
- Provide proof-of-performance photography and videography for sponsors and group outings
- Create and edit content for Express social media platforms, including TikToks, Instagram Reels, and hype videos
- Develop videos for in-stadium use on the video board (Promotions, fan engagement, recaps, etc.)
- Assist the marketing team in brainstorming and executing creative digital content campaigns
- Organize and manage photo and video files for easy access
- Collaborate with other interns and staff to maximize storytelling opportunities
- Produce highlught reels and recap videos for games, events, and special theme nights
- Assist with creating behind-the-scenes content to showcase players, coaches, and staff
- Capture and edit video interviews with players, staff, and fans for use on social media and in-game
- Contribute ideas for new in-game entertainment and crowd engagement content
- Aid in building a season-long video archive for future promotional use
- Other duties as assigned
- Assist the Express front office with ticket sales efforts
- Provide general office and administrative support as needed
- Assist with everyday office duties and other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Preferably pursuing a degree in photography, graphic design, or digital marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
