About the Organization:
The Eau Claire Express begin their 19th year in the summer collegiate Northwoods League. The Northwoods League is comprised of teams of the top college players from across North America. Each team is operated similar to a professional minor league team, providing development opportunities to players, front office staff members, interns and coaches. The Express are operated similarly to other Northwoods League teams in that their players use wooden bats, experience long road trips and overnight stays and play nightly in front of thousands of fans. The Eau Claire Express play at Carson Park located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Game Day Duties
- Must be able to attend all 36 Express home games
- Arrive to the stadium half an hour before every home game
- Embody Trax - no talking, must emphasize physical expression
- Responsible for interacting with and entertaining fans at Carson Park
- Take photos with fans
- Participate in certain on-field promotions
- Attend community events on non-game days
- Handle mascot suit with care
- HAVE FUN!
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and upbeat personality
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in inclement weather of varying degrees
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be at least 16 years old
