Company Description
Badlands Big Sticks Baseball is a summer collegiate baseball team located in Dickinson, North Dakota. Founded in 2018, the team has been providing family-oriented entertainment with great baseball to Dickinson and the surrounding communities ever since.
In 2026, the Badlands Big Sticks will enter their 3rd season as members of the Northwoods League — a summer collegiate wood bat league founded in 1994 with 26+ teams across seven states and one province, which has produced over 400 Major Leaguers in its 30-year history.
We are proud to represent the people of Western North Dakota and exemplify the spirit of Theodore Roosevelt.
Internship Information
Start Date: May 12th (TENTATIVE)
End Date: August 17th (TENTATIVE)
Housing provided
Pay: $1,500 stipend with abundant opportunities to earn more
Transportation is required
Current enrollment in a college program is required
Expected to be available for all Badlands Big Sticks home games and team events, including weekends and holidays
Expected to be available during the entirety of games/events from report time through the conclusion of responsibilities. Schedule will be dictated by the supervisor and may change daily
Expected to be available on some non-game days to attend meetings, work office hours, and complete assigned responsibilities
Must be able to aid in all areas of team operation, including but not limited to: ballpark set-up and tear-down on game days, pre- and post-season cleaning and organization, acting as the mascot when needed, and taking out the trash
Responsibilities
- Use Sound Director program to build game soundboards that excite fans and players alike (training provided)
- Prepare and clean up home and away dugouts, including filling coolers and providing cups
- Assist with setting up and tearing down the ballpark for each game according to the task list
- Support coaches, players, and team needs before and after games (e.g., equipment, guest list)
- Assist with managing equipment inventory (balls, bats, uniforms, etc.)
Qualifications
· Understanding of baseball game flow
· Ability to learn Sound Director and other musical equipment quickly
· Strong passion for music and knowledge of music trends
· Ability to lift 50+ pounds
· Team-player mindset

- College credit towards a major, minor, or general elective may be earned
