Tri-City Dust Devils are seeking an Account Executive to join the Ticket Sales department. Ticket Sales is a vital part of our company, our team’s performance and our Account Executives play a critical role in that success. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing within the sports industry. The individual in this position is expected not only to be an exceptional salesperson but also to deliver outstanding customer service to all clients to ensure fan retention and to establish a positive experience with the Dust Devils brand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Have FUN!
- Work to sell all Dust Devils ticket inventory (season tickets, mini plans, bonus books and group outings.) This includes but is not limited to:
- Prospecting leads – local companies, businesses, organizations, non-profits, individuals etc.
- Call leads to set-up meetings (primary goal of face-to-face meetings)
- Create and maintain solid relationships with new and existing accounts
- Meet and/or exceed personal sales goals, daily and weekly outbound call and appointment meetings
- Keep accurate CRM records and perform follow-up with customers to close and maintain sales in DBH360
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative, harmonious and professional working climate which will be conducive to maximize employee productivity, morale and efficiency/effectiveness
- Work closely with sales and marketing to develop compelling sales programs and components focused on long-term business sustainability
- Be a leader in customer service and maintain high Dust Devils customer service standards with all fans and partners. Learn and embrace “Fun, Wow, Yes!”
- Be an active member of the ticket team working to research, observe and continue to improve our operation
- Communicate, Communicate, Communicate! Be aware of internal communication and work to keep all departments accurately informed
- Represent the Dust Devils in a professional manner and maintain the Dust Devils look
- Contribute to overall operation by “answering the call” when assistance is needed in another area of our operation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Sales or customer service experience
- Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships
- Have a friendly and professional telephone manner
- Strong desire to learn about our business and grow your professional career
- Possess a positive attitude
- Maintain a flexible work schedule
