Position: Visiting Clubhouse Manager
Status: Seasonal, Full Time (March 30-September 15, 2026)
 
About the Hops
The Hillsboro Hops are located about 15 miles west of Portland, Oregon, and are an affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Hops are seeking a candidate to fill the role of the Visiting Clubhouse Manager. This person will care for the clubhouse's overall condition and the visiting team's needs.

General Duties
Manage all aspects of the Visiting Clubhouse including, but not limited to:

  • Cleaning the entire clubhouse daily. This includes vacuuming, emptying garbages, cleaning bathrooms/toilets, cleaning up all food, all team areas, etc.
  • Tending to all uniform needs of the team, including laundering, repairing all uniforms, and proper distribution and inventory throughout the entire season.
  • General availability for errands, etc., at all times, beginning with the team and umpire's arrival and lasting until post-game departure.
  • Coordinating and assisting with the team and umpires' arrival and departure. 
  • Stocking the dugouts and bullpen areas with needed supplies.
  • Coordinating the delivery, staging, and clean-up of meals served to players and staff. 
  • Coordinating with team personnel (athletic trainer, strength/conditioning coach, etc.) on providing nutritious meals and snacks for the team.
  • Maintain a budget for needed supplies.
  • Maintain equipment inventory and distribution throughout the season.
  • Prep team and personnel for travel for both arrival and departure.
  • Assist players, coaches, managers, and umpires with day-to-day needs.
  • Coordinating with bat boys/girls for other team needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be available to work all 66 scheduled games.
  • This role requires non-traditional hours, working 10-12+ hours in a day.
  • Candidate must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
  • Candidates must live in the Greater Portland area or be able to relocate before the season. Housing is not provided.
Compensation: Seasonal salary; $3,000/month, paid semi-monthly on 15th and last business day of the month.
