About the Role

Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Responsible for preparing concession menu items for guest satisfaction

· Follow recipes to prepare and cook concession menu items using a variety of kitchen equipment

· Ensure compliance with food safety regulations

· Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and concessions stands in compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements, including proper handling, storage, and cleaning procedures, to maintain compliance with health regulations. Ensure all workstations, storerooms and concession areas remain clean, sanitized, safe and in proper working order at all times

· Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items

· Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods

· Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures

· Ensure compliance with Hillsboro Hops standards, policies, and procedures

· Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately

· Adapt to shifting stand locations within the stadium

· Pivot between tasks in a dynamic environment

· Treat all guests and team members fairly without regard to race, gender identity, national origin, age, religion, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other classification protected by law

· Excellent communication to interact with team members and guests

· Guest satisfaction-oriented (remember, you’re a part of their experience!)

· Always on time and ready to perform required duties

· Work both independently and with a team. Help fellow team members whenever necessary

· Able to work evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedule (six game homestands, concerts, etc.)

· Perform any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

· Comfortable operating in a loud, high-volume atmosphere

· Desire to cook (a lot) and sharpen your skills

· Work both independently and with a team

· Experience as a cook in a fast casual dining or similar atmosphere preferred

· Lifts and transports up to 50 lbs

· Must have and maintain Oregon Food Handlers permit

· Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service area

· English reading, writing and math skills required

· Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains

· Walks and stands during entire shift
