Position Summary
The Manager of Season Tickets and Box Office Operations should be an outgoing energetic and creative professional who is a clear self-starter. He or she will work to aggressively grow season ticket sales revenues and while setting standards for excellent customer service. The position requires relentless focus on the prospecting and execution of season ticket sales and servicing tactics to retain and increase ticket sales revenues. Salesmanship, season ticket sales focus, management experience and “hands on” operational ability are all a must.

Major Responsibilities

· Participate in coordinated efforts to achieve desired season ticket revenue results through dedicated focus on season ticket sales tactics, call volume, sales contests, etc.

· Make unsolicited outgoing calls to drive season ticket and mini-plan sales.

· Develop concepts and best practices to increase and manage season ticket-holder benefits.

· Work closely with the sales staff to ensure ticket sales goals are met.

· Effectively manage all aspects of the box office, including game day staffing and payroll, training, cost controls, accounting procedures, box office staffing and on-line sales.

· Supervise box office personnel and develop each employee to the best of his/her potential.

· Develop and enforce club ticket policies.

· Identify and categorize businesses for season tickets and group nights at the ballpark.

· Fulfill all season-ticket, mini-plan and single game orders, and group & catered event contracts.

· Emphasize customer service, sponsor fulfillment and sponsor and fan satisfaction.

· Provide corporate partners, season ticket holders, group attendees and fans with great value for each purchase made.

· Maintain and monitor season ticket, group ticket, and individual ticket inventory.

· Report sales and goals on a weekly and (more detailed) monthly basis.

· Ensure all season ticket holders and groups attending Spinners’ games are properly serviced.

· Ensure all cash handling procedures are in effect at all times.

· Assist in the development of ticket programs which result in increased customer satisfaction.

· Maintain a friendly, positive attitude in the office and at each game.

Required Skills/Knowledge

· 1-2 years of sports or entertainment venue related box office experience.

· Experience working with a ticket system, preferably Ticket Return.

· Familiarity with inventory control procedures and policies.

· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

· Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills.

· Strong team work ethic and ability to build strong relationships and motivate sales staff.

· Strong time management and organizational skills, along with an ability to multi-task.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekend, and holidays.
