Timeline:
The GDI program will begin in June of 2026, and will conclude in August of 2026. Interns are expected to be present for all 40 Thunder home games, as well as being available to assist with outside events.
Hours:
The game day report time is approximately 2.5/3 hours prior to first pitch (4:00/4:30PM for a standard 7:00 PM game). GDI's will be dismissed shortly after the game ends when all responsibilities are finished.
Experience Includes:
· Assisting in general game day setup including giveaways, programs, and sponsor tables
· Handling customer service inquiries in the Box Office and Fan Services
· Selling Thunder tickets and resolving ticketing issues
· Assisting the promo crew with on-field entertainment
· Managing a food and beverage stand and assisting in the main concession stands
· Selling Thunder merchandise throughout ballpark and in the team store
· Assisting game day staff in handing out giveaways, exit distributions
· Ushering throughout the ballpark and assisting fans with questions in the seating bowl
· Assisting in the parking lot with handling cash and directing cars during entry/exit
· Opportunities to volunteer for special events
· Other responsibilities related to game day operations as assigned by Thunder Front Office members
