The Trenton Thunder are looking for Gameday Grounds crew members for the 2026 Season. The position will report directly to the Head Groundskeeper and assist with field preparation for the 2026 Thunder season. Grounds Crew members will assist with removal of batting practice equipment, field prep (lining, dragging, watering), in game field drags, post-game field repair and other duties as needed. Will also assist with tarping the field during rain delays and getting the field ready for play after.
This is an hourly based position. Most games are at night and will include weekends and some holidays. See Thunder website for game schedule. Report time is generally 1.5 hours before game time and finishes approximately 1 hour after the game averaging 5-6 hours per shift
Qualifications
- Available to work home games and events June-August
- Candidates must have the ability to do heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to endure extreme weather conditions (Heat, Humidity, Rain)
- Must be able to follow directions and operate in a fast-paced environment
