The ideal candidate has a track record of product management in B2B saas platforms for low-tech users; bonus points for building anything with financial data. Must be strongly motivated. Must be a good culture fit. Strong preference for someone who can be 3-4 days in-person (Nashville).
Who We Are:
At StatStak, we're building business software for sports people, and it's no small feat.
Right now, our target users are juggling their weekly schedules in Google Docs, running six figures through personal Venmo accounts, and managing their businesses on decade-old websites. And getting old-time operators to switch from whats been working for 20+ years is no small feat.
Fortunately, we came well-prepared for this journey.
- We are AI-first - People hours should be spent coming up with crazy ideas and building relationships with our clients, not on boring robot tasks.
- We are domain experts—our support staff has spent decades in the industry.
- We do all our own stunts—our dev team is in-house and in the United States.
- We’re venture-backed—the people who have been around the block are betting on us.
Our greatest advantage isn’t just our technology—it’s our people. Clients don’t just stick around because we make cool stuff; they stay because they trust us and they know we have their back. We’re not just another software company—we’re their partners in success.
Our team is battle-tested and lean. We’re looking for mission-focused people eager to join us in the trenches of the early-stage startup world.
The Role: Account Manager
Product Manager At StatStak, our growth comes from building exceptional products our users love. That’s where you come in.
How We Work:
We're looking for someone to organize chaos. We're looking for a single product manager to work directly with the CEO, COO, dev team, and account managers. This person will have a major role in product execution, road mapping, and client communications.
But we’re not here to waste time on busywork. We embrace AI and automation to amplify what we do best—being present where it matters most. The less time we spend on repetitive tasks, the more time we have to help our clients grow, problem-solve, and feel like they’re part of something bigger.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
- Lead QA testing, ensuring every release meets our high standards for reliability and user satisfaction.
- Serve as our Scrum(ish) manager—organize tickets, manage bug tracking, and keep development cycles clear and efficient. It's sorta like Scrum, but faster.
- Own weekly product update communications to stakeholders, ensuring transparency, clarity, and alignment across the team.
- As well as semi-weekly update emails that are client-facing to message what is getting done
- Maintain and refine our roadmap—capturing and organizing ideas from meetings, prioritizing effectively, and clearly communicating plans internally.
What It Takes:
- You’re not just managing products—you’re shaping experiences. Users don’t just rely on StatStak for functionality; they love it because it fits seamlessly into their daily workflow.
- You have a proactive approach to product management. You spot bugs, anticipate issues, and implement fixes before they become user problems.
- You’re strategic, with an eye for detail and big-picture thinking. You understand user needs deeply and can turn ideas into actionable tasks.
- You’re comfortable navigating tough challenges. A feature isn’t resonating or a bug slipped through? You’re there with solutions, not excuses.
- You’re agile. StatStak moves fast, and our product must keep pace. You pivot effortlessly and keep teams aligned on priorities.
- Experience is valuable. Initiative is essential. Whether your background is strictly in product management or spans across QA, Scrum, or customer success, your proactive mindset and drive are what matter most.
- You have the humility to learn from mistakes and move forward quickly. Responsibility and rapid improvement are central to our culture.
- Your ideas matter—bring them to the table. Whether refining our processes, improving the roadmap, or suggesting new innovations, your input shapes our future.
Why You’ll Love It Here:
- Impact & Ownership – You’ll own relationships with clients, ensuring they get the most out of StatStak.
- Work How You Live – Remote flexibility and hours that bend around your life, not the other way around.
- Be a Competitor – We aren't the only ones working on this problem, but we are the ones who will win.
- The People – You become who you surround yourself with. We only hire force multipliers for that very reason.
The StatStak Promise:
Yes, the work can be demanding, but the rewards? Unparalleled. You’re not just managing accounts—you’re shaping the future of an industry and helping sports businesses thrive.
